A / WORDMARK
Direct and legible; little distinctive geometry.
FROM AN OBJECT TO A WORKING SYSTEM
The cut becomes
the connection.
A self-initiated brand and responsive commerce prototype by Clinton Feyisitan, developed with AI assistance. Native vector identity, a small reusable visual system, speculative product art direction and working shopping interactions.
01 / POSITIONING & ART DIRECTION
Tomorrow has roots.
Courtyard Futures explores an African-futurist furniture language through shelter, gathering and architectural negative space. The specific starting reference was the communal canopy and filtered light in Francis Kéré’s 2017 Serpentine Pavilion ↗. This is an independent interpretation of those themes, with no collaboration or endorsement.
The dark timber, brass and woven accents unite three imagined objects. Recomposition is a design proposition, not a verified surplus-material supply chain or environmental claim.
Product photography is AI-assisted concept imagery. These objects have not been manufactured, engineered or structurally tested. Dimensions and pricing are illustrative.
02 / THREE CURRENT LOGO ROUTES
A useful signature.
B / MONOGRAM
Compact, but loses the idea of recomposition.
C / SELECTED: CUT + CONNECTION
A square and a diagonal piece supply a recognisable mark and a repeatable layout rule.
Keep at least one quarter of the mark’s height clear around it. Use the icon below 140px logo width; minimum icon 16px, primary wordmark 140px. Keep the native proportions. Use only the supplied ink, black or white variants; no stretch, shadow or rotation of the wordmark.
03 / COLOUR & TYPE
Warm base. Sharp interruption.

Space Grotesk carries the headline and reading text. IBM Plex Mono labels the objects, prices and specifications. Both families are self-hosted with their open-font licences in the kit. Headlines 64–116px desktop / 56–64px phone; section titles 36–68px; body 16px; utility labels 11px.
Ink on Paper and Ink on Citron are the primary text combinations. Ochre is a material accent, not a small-text colour. The diagonal offcut motif works in one colour and stays behind the content.
04 / CAMPAIGN APPLICATION
COURTYARD FUTURES / 001
A little shelter.
All yours.
CANOPY / AN IMAGINED OBJECT BY OFFCUT CLUB

05 / INTERACTION REFERENCE
The details are part of the design.
Product selection
Canopy has Ochre and Indigo weave images. Gather and Threshold each have one weave. Quantity is bounded from 1–8 per variant; unavailable combinations never appear as options.
Try a finish change ↗Saved basket
Only product identifiers, weave choices and quantities save locally. Duplicate variants merge. Invalid entries are discarded. An unavailable-storage message explains when a basket cannot persist.
Inspect the basket ↗Transparent totals
Prices calculate in integer pennies. Concept collection is £0; concept delivery adds £85 once to a non-empty basket. No tax calculation, payment or order confirmation.
Accessible states
Native dialog focus containment, keyboard Escape, labelled controls, selected-weave announcements, live basket feedback, visible focus styles, filter state and reduced-motion support.
06 / HANDOFF & LIMITS
Open the files behind it.
The kit includes outlined SVG logos, PNG exports, current routes, typography and licences, palette and CSS tokens, the pattern, AI-image prompt records, final image masters, website source and verification notes. It is a reviewable portfolio prototype, not a production trading platform. Structural design, sourcing, fulfilment, taxes and payment integration would need separate work.
